FRANKLIN STREET LOFT

Tribeca, NYC

This light-filled loft was previously an office building and prior to that an textile factory. In order to honor the legacy of this 1880s building we used re-claimed and salvaged items throughout to complement the architecture and original purpose of the building. The kitchen countertops were stone that was salvaged from the Philadelphia Mall, we used vintage glass in the cabinets, an old pig trough to create an extra sink which is all presented with an original brick backdrop. Fire Doors and Factory Windows were used to create the internal den and an industrial factory sink, an old clawfoot tub and salvaged glass were used in the Master Bath to create a completely original design. These vintage pieces were all paired with modern fixtures and appliances to create a completely unique living space that functions with all modern amenities.
