This house sits on Bay Head Harbor and has sweeping bay views and a quality of light which created a beautiful back-drop for this gorgeous family home. Our goal was to incorporate the water views and nautical lifestyle into the design of the house. The color palette of whites, blues and greys reflects the year-round scenery on the bay. All of our material choices were inspired by the water and boats sailing past the home. This includes the Wave Tile in the Master Bath, the Portholes in the Lacquered Bar and Kitchen Backsplash. We created a whimsical Powder Room that features a fun Octopus Wallpaper reflecting our client's love of bright color and bold patterns. Our biggest challenge on this project was fitting in a 300 bottle wine collection and having this house finished and furnished in under 12 months!
